The opportunity is with TUNE, a leading partner marketing software company within CSI’s Affiliate Marketing Group. TUNE provides a flexible SaaS platform that helps advertisers, agencies, and affiliate networks manage, measure, and grow marketing partnerships through partner program management, tracking, automation, reporting, and payments.

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer who excels in problem-solving and communication. The ideal candidate will analyze complex challenges and design scalable, maintainable software solutions. This role involves developing, testing, and maintaining applications using modern programming languages and frameworks, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical deliverables. Responsibilities also include software support and maintenance with participation in an on-call rotation, contributing to system architecture discussions, providing constructive feedback during design and code reviews, and offering thoughtful effort estimates. The candidate should be proactive in clarifying requirements, articulating multiple solution options with trade-offs, advocating opinions respectfully, and understanding how to test and measure the effectiveness of solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex problems and propose efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide software support and maintenance, including participation in an on-call rotation
- Engage in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Offer constructive feedback during design and code reviews
- Provide accurate effort estimates
- Clarify requirements and align on approaches through effective questioning
- Present multiple solutions with clear trade-offs
- Advocate opinions and voice disagreements respectfully
- Understand testing and measurement of solutions

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and Python
- Experience with Golang is a plus
- Strong knowledge of MySQL
- Experience with web services, APIs, and database design
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Proven problem-solving skills with effective solution implementation
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
- Exposure to microservices architecture and scalable system design
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
