The TUNE division within Contour specializes in partner marketing software, providing a flexible SaaS platform that helps advertisers, agencies, and affiliate networks manage and grow their marketing partnerships. The platform supports partner program management, tracking, automation, reporting, and payments.

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex problems and delivering scalable, maintainable software solutions. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications using modern programming languages and frameworks. Collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions is essential. The position also includes software support and maintenance duties, participation in on-call rotations, involvement in system architecture discussions, and contributing to technical decision-making. Providing constructive feedback during design and code reviews, offering accurate effort estimates, and articulating multiple solution approaches with their trade-offs are key aspects of this role. The candidate should be comfortable advocating opinions and respectfully voicing disagreements while understanding how to test and measure the effectiveness of their solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex problems and propose efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide software support and participate in on-call rotations
- Engage in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Offer constructive feedback during design and code reviews
- Provide thoughtful effort estimates and clarify requirements through effective questioning
- Present multiple solution options and discuss their trade-offs
- Advocate opinions and respectfully voice disagreements
- Understand testing and measurement of implemented solutions

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and Python
- Experience with Golang is a plus
- Strong skills in MySQL and database design
- Experience working with web services and APIs
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Proven problem analysis and solution implementation skills
- Excellent communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
- Exposure to microservices architecture and scalable system design
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
