Senior Software Engineer – .NET (Onsite, Karachi, PKR Salary)

We are seeking a skilled software developer with 3 to 5 years of experience specializing in .NET and .NET Core technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs, along with solid expertise in SQL and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. This role requires a developer who is comfortable working with authentication and security best practices, and who has hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Exposure to distributed systems and AI-assisted development tools is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate ownership of their work, delivering clean, testable code with a focus on performance and scalability, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET and .NET Core frameworks.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and distributed backend systems to support enterprise-grade applications.
- Optimize database queries to ensure efficient and high-performance data handling.
- Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver seamless software solutions.
- Participate actively in architecture and technical design discussions to influence product direction.
- Implement best practices related to application security, scalability, and overall system performance.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and assist in resolving production issues promptly.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on .NET and .NET Core.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Solid understanding of authentication mechanisms and security protocols.
- Proven debugging and problem-solving skills, with practical experience using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with distributed systems architecture.
- Experience working on SaaS, OTT, or enterprise platforms.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ownership of modules and deliverables, with a disciplined approach to writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Excellent technical communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.
