Senior Software Engineer (C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API ,Microservices)

Senior Software Engineer – Location: DHA Phase 8, Lahore, Pakistan

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our Mobile Banking and Integrations team. The successful candidate will be a technically proficient engineer with strong experience in designing, implementing, and reviewing scalable microservices and integration components within a containerized environment. This role demands a combination of hands-on coding, technical leadership, and mentoring, working on mission-critical systems that require reliability and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of backend services and APIs using the .NET technology stack.
- Conduct and enforce thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Translate business and functional requirements into robust and efficient technical designs.
- Collaborate closely with architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to develop scalable and efficient solutions.
- Manage containerization of services using Docker and support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Design, implement, and optimize complex database structures in SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.
- Drive performance optimization, scalability enhancements, and improve overall system reliability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
- Participate actively in technical design discussions, integration reviews, and release planning activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and RESTful API development.
- Advanced skills in MS SQL Server, including indexing, query optimization, and complex query writing.
- Proficiency in Docker for container management, image creation, and orchestration.
- Exposure to PostgreSQL is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of software architecture patterns such as layered architecture, microservices, and event-driven design.
- Advanced capabilities in code review and refactoring to improve code quality.
- Intermediate knowledge of business analysis and solution design principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
