Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers with strong AI expertise to design, develop, and deploy full stack applications leveraging Claude AI and other generative AI tools. The role focuses on accelerating engineering workflows throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to deployment and monitoring. Candidates will work on building scalable, production-grade applications that integrate AI/ML capabilities, enhancing productivity and quality across development teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
- Deeply understand codebases and system designs across multiple languages including Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and participate in design discussions at scale, regularly managing pull requests and substantial code reviews.
- Utilize AISDLC frameworks such as BMAD, GSD, and SPECKIT to streamline development processes.
- Design and deliver end-to-end web applications, including UI, APIs, and database integration with AI features.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs primarily using Python, ensuring clean API design, versioning, authentication, error handling, and observability.
- Develop responsive, high-performance front-end applications using Angular 16 or equivalent modern frameworks.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities from providers like OpenAI, Azure AI, Claude, Anthropic, and AWS AI into product features via APIs.
- Employ Claude AI to accelerate SDLC tasks such as code generation, code review, debugging, refactoring, and technical documentation.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to create effective prompts that enhance development productivity and output quality.
- Collaborate closely with AI Architects, Quality Engineers, and Business Analysts within Agile squads to meet sprint goals.
- Write clean, secure, and testable code aligned with architectural standards and coding guidelines.
- Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Support cross-platform optimization, performance tuning, and scalability improvements.
- Integrate asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies as needed.
- Deploy and manage applications using containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of full stack development experience for proficient roles; 6 to 8 years for specialist roles.
- Strong experience with AISDLC frameworks including BMAD, GSD, SPECKIT.
- Proficient backend development skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript with expertise in clean API design and related best practices.
- Front-end development experience using Angular 16 or comparable modern frameworks, focusing on responsive and high-performance UI.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and familiarity with WebSockets or real-time communication is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing.
- Proficiency in using Claude AI, Anthropic Claude, Sonnet, Haiku, or similar AI tools for daily engineering tasks.
- Strong prompt engineering skills to craft, iterate, and optimize prompts for code generation, explanation, review, and test creation.
- Experience integrating AI by calling large language model (LLM) APIs such as Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock from application code.
- Understanding of LLM concepts including context windows, token limits, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), latency, and cost trade-offs.
- Ability to leverage AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot to significantly reduce development cycle times.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with data scientists and ML engineers to productionize AI components.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Application Security expertise, including frameworks, threat modeling, Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, and security architecture reviews.
- Knowledge of architecture patterns and styles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with SpringBoot and TypeScript is advantageous.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and Claude code is highly desirable.
