Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a team of 5+ Java developers in building enterprise-level applications using Java, SpringBoot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate, and MySQL.
- Develop moderately complex software components in Angular, Angular CLI, Java, and other relevant technologies, adhering to coding standards and software development methodologies.
- Collaborate with the design team to review and enhance backend application architecture and participate actively in architectural discussions.
- Work closely with application architects and product managers to design and maintain technical documentation, including sequence diagrams, class diagrams, state transition diagrams, flow charts, and ERDs.
- Guide the development team in writing high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members to follow industry best practices and standards.
- Assist product management with software development effort estimation, task management, and daily progress tracking.
- Support the application support team by investigating and resolving Level III support issues, including performing necessary code fixes.
- Create, review, and execute unit tests using automated testing frameworks to ensure solution integrity through test-driven development.
- Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, Maven, Git/GitLab, and debuggers to comply with defined development processes.
- Collaborate with other development teams for peer code reviews, performance improvement discussions, and design evaluations.
- Mentor junior software engineers by helping resolve technical challenges and fostering professional growth.
- Evaluate and implement the best frameworks to develop reusable software components and services.
- Continuously learn and adopt new frameworks, tools, and technologies to stay current with industry trends.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university or institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience with Java, SpringBoot, Angular, JPA, Hibernate, and Spring AOP.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to write complex, efficient code utilizing Java Collections and other APIs.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and consuming web services using Spring REST API, JAX-RS, and JAX-WS.
- Familiarity with JUnit, Git/GitLab, Maven, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, design patterns, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Proficient in SQL programming with experience in databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
