Senior Software Engineer

AdalFi is a leading fintech company transforming digital lending in Pakistan by building intelligent credit infrastructure for banks. Our technology enables real-time, automated lending decisions through advanced data science, machine learning, and AI. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in the .NET framework and a proven track record in developing fintech products. This role involves designing scalable systems, addressing complex engineering challenges, and leading a high-performing development team. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, proactive, and an effective communicator. Experience in a product-driven environment is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deploy scalable fintech applications using the .NET technology stack.
- Own the entire development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to implementation and delivery.
- Solve complex business problems with clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and DevOps.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate best practices in code quality, performance, and security.
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing systems, tools, and processes to achieve engineering excellence.
- Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to long-term technical planning.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on software development experience with significant expertise in .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.
- Proven experience working on or leading the development of fintech products or platforms.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing and aligning teams.
- A mindset focused on ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
