Turvo is a leading provider of a collaborative Transportation Management System (TMS) designed specifically for the supply chain industry. This integration enables real-time collaboration, streamlines operations, enhances analytics, and automates business processes by eliminating redundant manual tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop user interfaces using AngularJS, Angular, and React frameworks.
- Continuously improve the UI experience, software quality, and application performance.
- Participate in code and design reviews, providing trade-offs to select the best solutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product management, and experience design to deliver high-quality features.
- Evaluate and propose new technologies to enhance the existing technology stack.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to accelerate their growth and productivity.
- Actively engage in product releases and deployment activities, promptly debugging and resolving issues.
- Take ownership of improving product accessibility, performance, scalability, and security.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience focused on front-end development.
- At least 3 years of experience working with Angular or other Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related development techniques such as DOM manipulation, BEM methodology, and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Solid understanding of Git, source control workflows, and feature branching strategies.
- Experience writing unit tests using frameworks such as Jest.
- Familiarity with Node.js, Express, and build tools including Gulp and Webpack.
- Proven ability to write high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Self-motivated, fast learner with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Good understanding of RESTful services.
- Strong advocate for user experience and accessibility.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Experience with UX design principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of CoffeeScript is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices is desirable.
