Senior System & Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Senior System & Cloud Engineer to oversee and support our enterprise servers, storage, backup platforms, virtualization environments, Microsoft Azure infrastructure, and Azure DevOps. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, security, recoverability, and performance of our infrastructure while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive in managing complex systems and collaborating effectively with various teams to uphold operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, NPS, and file services.
- Manage and support Microsoft Azure resources such as compute, storage, networking, monitoring, backup solutions, and identity integrations.
- Oversee backups and storage management for essential services like NPS, DHCP, virtual machines, and databases.
- Administer Azure DevOps Organization by managing projects, users, permissions, repositories, pipelines, agents, and service connections.
- Support virtualization platforms including Hyper-V and/or VMware, focusing on capacity planning, patch management, monitoring, incident resolution, and disaster recovery testing.
- Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), backup logs, change records, and audit evidence to ensure compliance and operational transparency.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in systems administration, data center infrastructure, storage, backup/recovery, and cloud operations.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, PowerShell scripting, and virtualization technologies.
- Practical experience managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud-based operations.
- Proven knowledge of enterprise storage solutions, backup platforms, tape operations, restore testing, and recovery processes.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps administration, including access control, repositories, pipelines, agents, and service connections.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong documentation skills, and effective communication with stakeholders across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with the following platforms and technologies is highly desirable: Dell EMC Unity 380 storage systems, IBM TS4300 Tape Library, Microsoft Data Protection Manager (DPM) Server 2025, TrueNAS storage solutions, Microsoft Azure cloud services, and Azure DevOps Organization management.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-800/AZ-801, AZ-400, Dell Technologies certifications, and VMware credentials will be considered advantageous.
