We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor with over one year of hands-on experience in video editing and content creation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of storytelling and visual aesthetics, combined with practical experience using AI-powered tools to enhance and streamline the video production process. This role requires someone who can transform raw footage into polished, engaging content tailored for various digital platforms, particularly social media.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit compelling videos for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Produce short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Perform video cutting, transitions, effects, audio synchronization, and color correction to ensure high-quality output.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, and visual effects as needed.
- Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to understand project goals and requirements.
- Optimize videos to meet the specifications and best practices of different social media platforms.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Utilize AI tools to assist in video editing, content enhancement, captioning, and workflow automation.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in video editing, AI technologies, and social media content styles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of practical experience in video editing.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling techniques, transitions, and color correction.
- Experience producing videos specifically for social media and marketing purposes.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered video editing and content creation tools like Runway, Adobe Firefly, CapCut AI, or equivalents.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail paired with creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- A robust portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video editing work is highly preferred.
