Senior Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Video Editor with proven experience in editing long-form YouTube videos and podcast content. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, with the ability to create engaging and polished video content that resonates with viewers. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work efficiently with raw footage to produce high-quality videos that meet project guidelines and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos ensuring smooth transitions, engaging pacing, and effective storytelling.
- Edit podcast videos, including handling multi-camera footage, dialogue cuts, and synchronizing audio with video.
- Incorporate B-roll footage, sound effects, background music, subtitles, and other relevant visual elements as needed.
- Enhance video flow and maximize audience retention through thoughtful editing techniques.
- Maintain consistent video quality while adhering to provided briefs and guidelines.
- Manage revisions and deliver final videos within established deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in editing long-form YouTube and podcast videos.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles, pacing, and techniques to engage audiences effectively.
- Ability to transform raw footage into polished, compelling content.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant work is mandatory.

Location:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 10, Karachi.

Working Hours:
The role requires availability from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
