AuctionNow, Pakistan's first reverse marketplace, revolutionizes the buying experience by allowing customers to post their needs—ranging from phones and laptops to cars, homes, and Umrah packages—and then connecting them with verified sellers who compete to offer the best price. The platform emphasizes a seamless and hassle-free experience, utilizing technology to efficiently bridge buyers and sellers.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging short-form videos optimized for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and others.
- Apply strong instincts for short-form content, including hooks, pacing, transitions, and sound design, to maximize viewer retention and engagement.
- Develop motion graphics and kinetic typography, including animated captions, callouts, brand intros, and outros that elevate the visual appeal.
- Ensure all edits align consistently with AuctionNow’s brand voice and visual identity.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media & Content Lead and the digital marketing team to ensure video content supports campaign objectives.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting weekly deadlines.
- Optimize video formatting for each platform, considering aspect ratios, captions, and safe zones.
- Explore and integrate AI editing tools where applicable to enhance workflow efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in editing and animating short-form social media content, supported by a portfolio or showreel.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential.
- Strong understanding of current social media trends, with the ability to distinguish genuine trends from noise and adapt content accordingly.
- Skilled in motion graphics, including kinetic typography, logo animation, and animated illustrations.
- Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Based in or willing to work from Lahore, Pakistan.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
