Senior Wedding Video Editor (Expert Level)

MZ Digital Studio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wedding Video Editor with a strong focus on premium wedding cinematography and cinematic storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of professional experience in wedding video editing and possess expert-level proficiency in industry-standard editing software. This role demands advanced skills in color grading, audio synchronization, and the ability to produce high-end wedding films that capture emotional narratives with cinematic quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit a variety of wedding films including cinematic highlights, teasers, trailers, and full-length videos.
- Craft engaging wedding highlight films using professional storytelling techniques, smooth transitions, and emotional impact.
- Perform advanced color correction and cinematic color grading to enhance visual appeal.
- Synchronize footage with music, speeches, and live audio from wedding events.
- Edit multi-camera footage from traditional ceremonies such as Mehndi, Barat, and Walima.
- Incorporate drone footage, slow-motion sequences, cinematic shots, and couple portraits into the final edit.
- Produce professional wedding reels and short-form videos suitable for social media platforms.
- Utilize advanced editing techniques including masking, motion graphics, stabilization, sound design, and visual effects.
- Ensure consistent quality, color grading, and storytelling across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Manage multiple editing projects efficiently while adhering to strict delivery deadlines.
- Organize and maintain project files and footage to support a professional and streamlined editing workflow.

Required Qualifications
- At least five years of professional video editing experience, preferably within wedding photography and cinematography.
- Expert proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Final Cut Pro or equivalent tools.
- Strong expertise in cinematic wedding films, including storytelling, pacing, and music selection.
- Advanced knowledge of color grading, sound design, transitions, masking, and visual effects.
- Experience working with 4K footage, multi-camera setups, and drone videography.
- Proven ability to deliver premium-quality wedding films that meet international standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and consistently produce high-quality results.
- A professional portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous wedding editing work is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
The ideal candidate is an expert-level editor with a strong creative eye and a deep understanding of cinematic wedding storytelling. This role is not suitable for beginners or intermediate editors. Candidates should be comfortable working across multiple editing platforms and adapting to diverse client styles and project requirements.

This position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs130,000, reflecting the candidate’s experience and skill level. The work location is in person, providing an opportunity to collaborate closely with the creative team and contribute to high-end wedding film productions.
