Located in Tajpura Scheme, Canal Road, Lahore, this full-time, on-site position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs70,000. We are seeking a motivated professional with a passion for SEO and WordPress web development to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Advanced SEO Implementation: Develop and execute sophisticated SEO strategies specifically for WordPress websites. Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits to uncover optimization opportunities. Enhance website structure, content, and metadata to boost search engine rankings and user engagement. Apply schema markup, structured data, and other technical SEO improvements.
WordPress Development: Customize themes and plugins to meet SEO best practices and performance objectives. Improve website speed, responsiveness, and overall performance. Work closely with web designers and developers to integrate SEO-friendly design elements and functionalities.
Technical SEO: Monitor website performance, crawl errors, and indexing issues using tools such as Google Search Console and Screaming Frog. Identify and resolve technical SEO challenges including broken links, duplicate content, and crawlability problems. Implement redirects, canonical tags, and other technical solutions to optimize site structure and indexing efficiency.
Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-aligned content strategies and optimize existing content for search engines. Perform content gap analysis and keyword mapping to ensure alignment with target keywords and user intent. Apply on-page SEO techniques such as optimizing titles, headings, meta descriptions, and internal linking structures.
Analytics and Reporting: Track key SEO metrics including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates. Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards to monitor progress and highlight areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis and trends.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have proven experience as an SEO specialist or web development engineer with a focus on WordPress platforms. A deep understanding of SEO principles, algorithms, and best practices is required. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, particularly in the context of WordPress development, is necessary. Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console is expected. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities are critical. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are important for effective collaboration in a cross-functional environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality results and continuous improvement are also required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications will be given preference. Experience in e-commerce SEO and optimization techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of international SEO strategies and multilingual website optimization is a plus. Familiarity with other content management systems like Drupal, Joomla, or Magento is beneficial.
This role requires at least one year of SEO experience, preferably within a software house environment. Candidates should be prepared to work on-site and be located within reasonable proximity to Tajpura Canal Road in Lahore.
