We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated professional to provide one-on-one support to students requiring special educational needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with assigned students within the classroom environment to help them focus, follow instructions, and complete their tasks effectively. This role involves managing behavior and emotional regulation according to individualized plans, while collaborating with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure the student’s overall development and progress. Maintaining accurate daily reports on behavior and academic progress is also a key part of the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to assigned students during class activities.
- Assist students in maintaining focus, following instructions, and completing assigned tasks.
- Implement behavior management and emotional regulation strategies as outlined in the student’s plan.
- Coordinate regularly with class teachers, parents, and therapists to align support efforts.
- Maintain detailed daily records of student progress and behavioral observations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Diploma in Psychology, or Special Education certification.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience as a Shadow Teacher or SEN (Special Educational Needs) Support for at least one year is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child psychology and behavioral intervention techniques.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and effective communication skills.
Compensation and Work Location:
- Monthly salary ranges from Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- This is an in-person position requiring attendance at the designated work location.
