Shift Incharge

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Shift Incharge to oversee daily manufacturing and production operations at our Islamabad facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ hands-on experience in B2B manufacturing or industrial production environments, with proven expertise in SAP Business One (SAP B1). This role involves supervising production shifts, managing manpower, monitoring machine performance, ensuring product quality, and maintaining accurate operational records within SAP B1. Candidates must have practical SAP B1 experience combined with relevant B2B manufacturing exposure to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily manufacturing and production activities during assigned shifts, ensuring production targets are met according to schedules.
- Efficiently allocate manpower, machines, and materials while monitoring production output, machine utilization, and shift productivity.
- Manage smooth shift handovers and maintain effective communication between teams.
- Record and monitor production transactions in SAP Business One, managing production orders, material consumption, and finished goods entries as per company procedures.
- Verify inventory availability, coordinate material issuance, and maintain accurate records of production, wastage, and inventory.
- Generate production and shift performance reports from SAP B1 and resolve ERP-related discrepancies by coordinating with warehouse, procurement, and accounts departments.
- Supervise machine operators, technicians, helpers, and production staff, ensuring attendance, discipline, and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct shift briefings, communicate daily production targets, and identify training needs to support skill development.
- Ensure products meet quality specifications by coordinating with Quality Control, monitoring defects, rejection rates, and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor machine operation and production line performance, coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Oversee raw material availability and consumption, coordinating with warehouse teams for timely supply and maintaining accurate stock records in SAP B1.
- Enforce workplace health and safety procedures, monitor PPE usage, maintain cleanliness, and report safety incidents or hazards promptly.
- Prepare daily shift production reports, monitor key performance indicators such as efficiency, downtime, and rejection rates, and report operational challenges to management.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in production supervision or shift management within a B2B manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Practical, hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) is mandatory.
- Proven background in B2B manufacturing or industrial production operations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shift operations.
- Experience supervising production teams, machine operators, and technical staff.
- Proficiency in managing production orders, inventory movements, and manufacturing records within SAP B1.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts as required.
- Must be based in or available to work full-time in Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Expertise in manufacturing shift management and production planning.
- Strong skills in manpower and machine allocation, inventory control, and material consumption monitoring.
- Experience in quality control, defect reduction, and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Ability to generate detailed production reports and monitor KPIs effectively.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards, SOP compliance, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates who do not meet the mandatory requirements, including SAP Business One experience and relevant B2B manufacturing background, will not be considered. Applicants with experience limited to other ERP systems, B2C, retail, warehouse-only, or unrelated supervisory roles are advised not to apply. This position requires full-time, in-person commitment at the Islamabad location.
