We are looking for a talented Web Developer with strong expertise in WordPress and Shopify to design and maintain high-performing, responsive, and conversion-driven websites. The successful candidate will be responsible for building websites from the ground up or customizing existing themes on both platforms. This role demands a focus on optimizing site speed, ensuring mobile responsiveness, and implementing SEO best practices. Collaboration with design and marketing teams is essential to deliver projects on time and meet business objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify, either by creating new sites or customizing existing themes.
- Customize themes, plugins, and third-party integrations to meet specific project requirements.
- Optimize website performance, focusing on site speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO-friendly structures.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve errors, bugs, and other performance issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with WordPress, including working with Elementor, creating custom themes, and configuring plugins.
- Strong proficiency in Shopify development, including Liquid templating language, theme customization, and app integrations.
- Solid skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
- Thorough understanding of SEO best practices and techniques for website optimization.
- Ability to provide a portfolio or live website examples showcasing previous work.
Additional Information:
- Salary range is Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 per month.
- The position is office-based at Main Shahra e Faisal, Karachi.
- Working hours are night shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM.
- This is a full-time, in-person role.
