SITE Engineer - Contract (Multan)

We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer - Electrical to join our team on a contract basis for the BTD Multan Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical site activities, ensuring that installation, testing, commissioning, and overall project execution are carried out safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. This role reports directly to the Project Manager or Site In-Charge and requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve timely and quality project delivery at the Multan site.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily electrical installation and site execution activities to ensure adherence to project plans.
- Ensure all work complies with approved drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and project schedules.
- Coordinate effectively with the Project Manager, Electrical Supervisors, contractors, vendors, and other disciplines involved in the project.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, cable schedules, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and other technical documentation.
- Monitor and manage manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site operations.
- Oversee cable laying, termination, electrical panel installation, power distribution, lighting, earthing, and related electrical tasks.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing and commissioning activities to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Track work progress against project timelines and report any delays or technical issues promptly.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports while maintaining accurate site documentation.
- Identify and resolve site issues by coordinating with relevant teams and ensuring proper technical implementation.
- Enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and other teams to prevent site conflicts and ensure smooth execution.
- Support measurement activities, quantity verification, material reconciliation, and preparation of as-built documentation.
- Perform additional project-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.S.) from a recognized institution.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant site or project execution experience in electrical works.
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings, installation practices, testing, and commissioning processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with project or site documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.
- Willingness to work on-site at the Multan project location.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in industrial, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), construction, or large-scale electrical projects is highly desirable.
