The Site & Charging Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that every client location is equipped to charge its e-bike fleet safely and reliably. This role involves overseeing the entire process from the initial site survey through to the successful installation and commissioning of charging infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with clients and contractors to deliver standardized, high-quality charging solutions across multiple cities.
Key Responsibilities
Survey client sites: Assess available electrical load, distribution boards, parking layouts, weather protection, and security measures to determine site suitability.
Design charging setups: Plan the number of charging points, cabling routes, protective devices, and optimal placement. Prepare detailed installation cost estimates to support proposals.
Manage contractors: Hire and supervise electrical contractors, ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and project specifications.
Commission and test chargers: Oversee the commissioning process, conduct thorough testing before handover, and provide training to client facility staff on basic charger operation.
Maintain records and coordinate maintenance: Keep accurate records of installed chargers at each site and coordinate ongoing maintenance and fault repairs as needed.
Standardize processes: Follow established procedures and use approved suppliers consistent with TTM’s residential and commercial building charging rollout to maintain uniformity and quality.
Required Qualifications
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BE/BSc). PEC registration is preferred.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of practical experience in low-voltage electrical installations, building services, solar installations, or electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
Contractor management: Proven ability to manage and supervise contractors on site effectively.
Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and building power systems.
Mobility: Willingness to travel between Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad/Rawalpindi as required.
