Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will be based full-time on-site in Lahore and will oversee daily site operations. This includes supervising the installation of solar systems, BESS, generators, wind turbines, and related electrical and mechanical works. The role requires close coordination with project managers and contractors to monitor construction and installation progress, ensuring all activities comply with design specifications and safety standards.

The engineer will conduct quality control inspections, perform testing, document site reports, and resolve technical issues as they arise. Supporting the commissioning and handover phases of projects is also a critical part of the role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet both company and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have the ability to effectively manage field operations and site coordination in dynamic on-site environments. Strong communication skills are necessary for liaising with project teams, contractors, and clients. Experience in quality control processes, including inspection, testing, and documentation of construction and installation activities, is essential.

A solid understanding of structural engineering principles related to solar structures, foundations, and supporting infrastructure is required. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Familiarity with renewable energy systems, LV/MV switchgear, and relevant safety regulations will be advantageous.

Proficiency in basic engineering software, site reporting tools, and MS Office applications is expected. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance is critical for success in this role.
