Site Manager

Join Maersk’s Contract Logistics team as a Site Manager and take full ownership of the end-to-end operations of a logistics site. In this role, you will lead safe, efficient, and customer-focused warehouse and fulfillment activities. You will be responsible for driving site performance, managing people, ensuring customer delivery, and promoting operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in overseeing inventory, warehousing, and fulfillment processes while fostering productivity, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement. Building and maintaining a high-performing, safety-conscious team will be a key part of your role. Key Responsibilities

- Lead all aspects of warehouse and site operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily execution.
- Manage inbound logistics, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and outbound fulfillment activities.
- Drive operational excellence through effective planning, productivity management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper storage practices while adhering to operational processes and controls.
- Lead, coach, and develop site teams to foster a high-performance culture focused on safety and accountability.
- Monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve results.
- Ensure compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment), quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Manage customer requirements and service level agreements to deliver consistently high-quality service.
- Oversee site costs and resource allocation, identifying opportunities to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, standardization, and operational discipline across the site.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse, contract logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations, preferably in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong background managing large-scale or complex warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated skills in people leadership, team development, and performance management.
- Solid understanding of inventory management, warehousing processes, and fulfillment operations.
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational performance tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Excellent customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership capabilities.
