Site Supervisor-Waterproofing

PATSA Pakistan is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor for its Waterproofing Division based in Karachi. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations on various project sites, managing labor crews to ensure that all waterproofing tasks are completed accurately, on schedule, and within material budgets. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this role demands hands-on supervision and effective coordination with clients and site personnel to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise waterproofing activities on-site, including roofs, water tanks, basements, and wet areas, following the approved method statements.
- Assign daily tasks to labor crews, monitor attendance, and ensure continuous workflow.
- Take precise site measurements and prepare area calculations required for quotations and billing purposes.
- Track materials received, used, and returned at each site, identifying and reporting shortages promptly.
- Inspect surface preparation and each stage of waterproofing application before proceeding to the next phase.
- Provide daily progress updates with photographic evidence to the Service Manager.
- Coordinate with clients and site staff regarding site access, scheduling, and project handover.
- Enforce basic site safety protocols and maintain housekeeping standards.

Required Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising labor on construction sites.
- Proficiency in taking measurements and performing basic area and quantity calculations.
- Ability to read basic drawings and follow written instructions accurately.
- Reliable, well-organized, and capable of independently managing a crew.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for communication, including WhatsApp, photography, and simple reporting.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle license and ownership of a motorcycle for site mobility.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in waterproofing, coatings, or chemical application is advantageous.
- Previous employment with a contractor or building materials company is a plus.
- Comprehensive training on waterproofing systems and products will be provided to the selected candidate.
