Social Media & Content Creator Intern

Grupo Island, a UK-based organisation with expertise in education, vocational training, software development, and digital services, is expanding its digital marketing team in Lahore, Pakistan. We are offering a paid full-time internship for 3 to 6 months, with an immediate start preferred. This role is ideal for students, fresh graduates, and aspiring content creators eager to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, video editing, and digital brand development. The internship provides an opportunity to work on real business projects, develop creative skills, and contribute to campaigns targeting both Pakistani and international markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
- Develop social media posts, reels, short videos, stories, graphics, and promotional materials.
- Assist in planning and maintaining social media content calendars.
- Write clear, engaging captions, headlines, descriptions, and promotional copy.
- Research social media trends, trending formats, hashtags, and audience interests.
- Produce content promoting training courses, software development services, and digital solutions.
- Support video recording, editing, and content preparation for various platforms.
- Use creative ideas to enhance audience engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
- Help maintain consistent brand identity across social media accounts.
- Assist with scheduling and publishing posts.
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement as needed.
- Research competitors and identify opportunities for innovative content.
- Track basic social media performance metrics and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with marketing, SEO, design, and development teams.
- Stay updated on new social media features, content formats, and digital marketing trends.

This internship offers a paid stipend ranging from PKR 20,000 to 50,000 per month, depending on skills and experience. Interns will gain practical experience managing real business social media accounts, build a professional portfolio, and receive mentoring from an experienced marketing team. The role provides exposure to UK and international marketing campaigns and opportunities to develop skills in video editing, graphic design, and digital marketing. Based on performance and business needs, there may be potential for a permanent position.
