We are seeking a part-time, remote Social Media Marketing Manager and Content Creator with proven experience in marketing and selling software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in turning desktop and mobile applications into consistent sales through strategic social media efforts. This role requires creativity, self-management, and a results-driven approach to grow our user base and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning:
Develop and manage a monthly content calendar across multiple platforms including YouTube (long-form and Shorts), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and Reddit. Adapt the core message, "Private AI, pay once," into compelling hooks tailored for diverse audiences such as privacy enthusiasts, hobby photographers, families, and small studios. Plan and execute product launches and seasonal campaigns, including events like Product Hunt and Black Friday.
Content Creation:
Create engaging content by scripting, recording, and editing short product demos, before-and-after clips, tutorials, and comparison videos. Produce faceless screen-recorded videos utilizing our demo photo library. Design graphics, carousels, thumbnails, and craft captions, posts, and brief blog teasers to maximize engagement.
Community and Outreach:
Participate actively and respectfully in photography, privacy, and Windows-related communities, adhering to each forum’s guidelines. Respond to comments and messages promptly, escalating bugs and feature requests to the founder. Identify and reach out to YouTubers, bloggers, and reviewers for authentic reviews and potential affiliate partnerships.
Sales and Growth:
Drive free-trial downloads and convert trial users into paying customers. Manage small-scale paid advertising tests such as boosted posts and creator sponsorships within a defined monthly budget. Monitor and analyze campaign performance using referral links and codes, providing detailed reports on their impact.
Reporting:
Provide concise weekly updates covering posted content, reach, clicks, trials, sales, and plans for the upcoming week. Complete a weekly scorecard to track trends and measure progress effectively.

- Demonstrable proof of results, including links to accounts, videos, or campaigns with verifiable metrics such as follower growth, clicks, sign-ups, or sales.
- Proficiency in short-form video production: scripting, screen recording, editing, and captioning 30–60 second demos independently.
- Excellent written English skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and naturally to US, UK, and Australian audiences.
- Strong understanding of the marketing funnel and the ability to guide users from social media posts to free trials and ultimately to sales.
- Commitment to ethical marketing practices, avoiding fake reviews, purchased followers, spam, or false urgency tactics.
- Self-motivated and organized, capable of planning your own schedule, meeting deadlines, and providing regular reports without supervision.
