Social Media Officer

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Officer to join our team and take charge of developing engaging digital content while managing the organization’s social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in graphic design, content creation, social media management, and digital communication. This role is essential for enhancing our online presence and increasing audience engagement across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design creative content tailored for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
- Create diverse social media materials such as posts, banners, infographics, reels, short videos, stories, and promotional content.
- Manage the organization’s social media accounts, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar to organize and plan posts effectively.
- Write engaging captions, posts, and other social media copy that align with the organization’s communication style and branding.
- Capture and edit photos and videos from organizational activities, events, field visits, and campaigns to support content creation.
- Monitor social media engagement by tracking comments, messages, and audience interactions, responding appropriately to maintain a positive online presence.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, preparing monthly reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, formats, tools, and best practices, and proactively suggest new content ideas to keep the platforms fresh and engaging.
- Coordinate with program and management teams to gather relevant information, stories, photographs, and updates for digital content development.
- Ensure all published content adheres to the organization’s branding guidelines, tone, and communication standards.
- Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns, awareness initiatives, events, and online promotional activities.
- Maintain an organized digital library of photographs, videos, graphics, and other communication materials for easy access and future use.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or graphic design.
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and their specific content requirements.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
- Basic to intermediate video editing skills using applications like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
- Excellent content writing and communication skills in both English and Urdu.
- Good photography skills with the ability to tell compelling visual stories.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple content requirements, and meet deadlines consistently.
- A creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
