Social Media Specialist

HG Marketing, a Lahore-based podcast agency specializing in B2B podcasting for marketers and entrepreneurs, is seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Specialist. This full-time, onsite role is based in Gulberg III, Lahore, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of podcast projects across multiple clients, focusing on quality control, publishing, scheduling, and client communication. This position emphasizes operational efficiency and accuracy rather than creative editing, ensuring all podcast assets meet high standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Quality Assurance & Review: Conduct comprehensive quality checks on podcast videos, audio files, show notes, articles, clips, and thumbnails using structured checklists. Identify and resolve errors, inconsistencies, compliance issues, and brand mismatches. Ensure all final deliverables adhere to internal standards and client-specific guidelines before approval.

- Publishing & Scheduling: Manage the scheduling and publishing of podcast episodes on platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and others. Upload and optimize episode metadata, including titles, descriptions, tags, timestamps, and thumbnails. Maintain and update content calendars for podcasts and related assets to ensure timely releases.

- Client & Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, providing clear and professional communication regarding updates, timelines, feedback, and approvals. Facilitate smooth coordination between internal teams—including editors, writers, and designers—and clients to maintain workflow efficiency.

- Workflow & Operations Management: Oversee multiple client workflows simultaneously, ensuring no delays or quality compromises. Track the progress of assets from raw files through editing, quality assurance, publishing, and final client delivery. Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks to meet deadlines consistently.

- Documentation & Process Improvement: Adhere to and contribute to the enhancement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality assurance checklists, and workflow systems. Keep organized records of published episodes, revisions, and approvals to support transparency and accountability.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in podcast management, content operations, or media quality assurance.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect errors that others might overlook.
- Practical knowledge of YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other podcast hosting platforms.
- Experience managing multiple clients and fast-paced workflows effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working within structured processes, checklists, and strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a podcast agency or content production environment.
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles, metadata optimization, and content analytics.
