Our flagship SaaS product, CloudGate, is a modular Physical Identity and Access Management platform that integrates global identities across various physical and logical access control systems. We serve a diverse clientele ranging from mid-sized growth companies to Fortune 100 firms. We are currently seeking a Software Configuration Management (SCM) Engineer to join our team at the Lahore office. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a positive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize the software development lifecycle and implement effective SCM and DevOps practices.
- Implement and maintain version control systems to manage source code repositories.
- Design and configure build and deployment pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of our SaaS product.
- Automate software building, testing, and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and minimize manual errors.
- Monitor and maintain the stability, performance, and security of CI/CD infrastructure, promptly resolving any issues.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot build and deployment failures and provide timely solutions.
- Manage and coordinate release schedules to ensure smooth and timely product launches.
- Enforce best practices related to SCM and DevOps across development teams.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to manage cloud-based resources and services involved in the CI/CD process.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with SCM and DevOps policies and standards.
- Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve SCM and DevOps workflows.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to streamline processes and improve software delivery efficiency.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation related to SCM and DevOps processes.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in SCM and DevOps technologies.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar SCM or DevOps role.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS) environments.
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work reliably within a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with JIRA is highly desirable.
- Strong work ethic, trustworthiness, reliability, and a sense of responsibility are essential personal attributes.
- Willingness to work 40+ hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for overlapping hours as needed.
