Software Development Engineer - Teknosys

Teknosys is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and support applications that drive critical business services across both cloud and on-premises environments. This role involves a blend of software engineering and operational responsibilities, working closely with product, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to building and maintaining applications that power digital innovation while ensuring smooth deployments, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement of system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient applications using Node.js, Spring Boot, or .NET technologies.
- Build and support RESTful APIs, system integrations, and database solutions that underpin essential business functions.
- Troubleshoot application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
- Manage application deployments, releases, upgrades, and production operations, including handling critical incidents.
- Improve application observability through monitoring, logging, health checks, and performance analytics.
- Drive automation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in software development and operational support.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Spring Boot, or .NET, including application design, development, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL, and enterprise system integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premises environments, including exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as ELK, Datadog, Zabbix, or Nagios.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, especially in production settings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and operations teams, demonstrating ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
