Software Development Engineer - Teknosys

Teknosys is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and support applications that drive critical business services across both cloud and on-premises environments. This role blends software engineering expertise with operational ownership, requiring close collaboration with product, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams. The successful candidate will contribute to building reliable, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions, ensuring smooth deployments, troubleshooting production issues, and continuously enhancing platform performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Node.js, Spring Boot, or .NET technologies.
- Build and support RESTful APIs, system integrations, and database solutions essential for business operations.
- Troubleshoot application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and optimize system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.
- Manage application deployments, releases, upgrades, and production operations, including handling critical incidents.
- Improve application observability through monitoring, logging, health checks, and performance analytics.
- Drive automation, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software development with expertise in Node.js, Spring Boot, or .NET frameworks.
- Proven experience designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing applications.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL, and enterprise system integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premises environments, including exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like ELK, Datadog, Zabbix, Nagios, or similar solutions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, especially in production settings.
- Ability to collaborate across development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and operations teams while demonstrating ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.
