Software Development Intern- Unpaid Internship

We are currently looking for driven and enthusiastic Software Development Interns to join our engineering and product team.

As a Software Development Intern, you will work alongside experienced developers and collaborate directly with our Cybersecurity Team to design, build, and secure modern software applications. This program is structured to provide hands-on experience in full-stack development, secure coding practices, and agile workflows. While this is an unpaid internship, we are committed to providing robust mentorship, professional skill development, and a strong foundation for your future career in software engineering and security.

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering: Assist in writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code for web or desktop applications and internal tools.
Cybersecurity Integration: Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to implement secure coding standards, conduct basic code security checks, and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
Debugging & Testing: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems; participate in code reviews and quality assurance testing.
Collaboration: Work with product leads, senior developers, and security analysts to implement features, APIs, and access control mechanisms.
Research & Development: Explore new frameworks, open-source libraries, and security tooling to optimize development workflows and enhance system security.
Documentation: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation for codebases, APIs, and security compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering (SE), Information Technology (IT), or a related technical discipline.
Technical Fundamentals: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and Algorithms.
Programming Skills: Proficiency or familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, or C#).
Web/Software Basics: Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), version control (Git/GitHub), and web communication protocols/APIs (REST).
Soft Skills: Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
