Software Engineer (Data & Analytics)

Cinergie Digital is seeking two skilled Software Engineers with expertise in Power BI to join a critical project supporting the REVAC Decoupling from ERP and Data Archival initiative for a leading airline client in Lahore, Pakistan. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, efficient Power BI reports and dashboards using data sourced from Oracle and SQL Server databases. This is a contract role for three months, with an expected start date of October 27, 2026. Candidates should have between three to five years of experience in software engineering or business intelligence development, including at least two years focused on Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
- Integrate data from various sources such as SQL databases, Excel files, and APIs into Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business reporting needs.
- Build and optimize data models to ensure high performance and scalability of reports.
- Create advanced DAX measures and calculations to support detailed analytics.
- Validate data accuracy and ensure the quality and reliability of reports.
- Keep abreast of the latest Power BI features and industry best practices to continuously improve reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in advanced DAX calculations for complex data analysis.
- Strong SQL skills with experience managing and querying large datasets.
- Expertise in data modeling and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience integrating Power BI with Oracle and SQL Server databases is essential.
- Ability to integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL, Excel, and APIs.
- Strong focus on data quality, validation, and accuracy in reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 200,000 to 250,000.
