Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, distributed systems and frameworks to enable efficient data management.
- Tackle challenges related to fault tolerance and high availability while scaling data ingestion pipelines and enhancing ETL frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) concerning system performance, reliability, and availability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to identify and implement features that support data-driven product capabilities.
- Engage actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
- Strong backend programming skills, with expertise in multi-threading and concurrency, proficient in Python or similar languages.
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable software systems and services.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Airflow, and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with service-oriented architectures.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proven track record of developing innovative solutions.
- Practical experience with containerized platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
