Key Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code following SOLID principles.
- Independently clarify technical requirements, estimate development efforts, and apply diverse design approaches to deliver innovative solutions.
- Review code from team members and provide constructive feedback to ensure engineering excellence.
- Continuously raise the bar on software quality, customer experience, and maintainability of products and features.
- Mentor and lead developers by fostering curiosity and deep technical understanding.
- Conduct independent quality reviews of technical documents such as 1-pagers and 6-pagers.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and facilitate RCA evaluation meetings to address issues effectively.
- Ensure the global platform architecture supports agility, scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive threats through ongoing technology watch.
- Identify new technologies and guide the direction of technological innovation and product investment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Good knowledge of multithreading concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of Git for version control.
- Ability to work independently with a self-driven, can-do attitude.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Focused on delivering high-quality, impactful features.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Google App Engine and Google Cloud Platform.
- Proven track record of shipping production-quality products using Python and Node.js.
- Familiarity with React, Redux, and React Native frameworks.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Background in low-level systems programming and Linux networking stack.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
