Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented ASP.NET Core and VB.NET Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-level web applications. This role requires hands-on experience with both modern ASP.NET Core frameworks and legacy VB.NET applications, along with strong proficiency in SQL Server. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet business requirements and ensure optimal application performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and VB.NET.
- Enhance and support existing ASP.NET Web Forms and legacy VB.NET applications.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers in SQL Server.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and implement solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to established coding standards.
- Perform application deployment and provide support in IIS environments.
- Optimize application performance and database queries for improved efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in ASP.NET Core and C# development.
- Proven experience with VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including stored procedures, functions, views, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with Entity Framework Core or ADO.NET for data access.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Practical experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of version control systems like Git or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of IIS deployment and application hosting best practices.
