Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in data testing, ETL automation, and quality assurance within data warehouse, data lake, or data hub environments. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability by validating data sources, executing comprehensive tests, and collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders. The position is open across multiple locations including Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore, and Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of existing products to identify deficiencies within Data Warehouse or Data Hub environments.
- Propose practical solutions to address identified product issues and improve data quality.
- Analyze product quality metrics and recommend enhancements to boost customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with development teams to ensure consistent execution of projects.
- Identify bottlenecks in quality assurance processes and suggest actionable improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by collecting and analyzing quality data.
- Monitor regression test runs on a daily and weekly basis, supporting maintenance, operations, and release activities.
- Participate actively in reviews of product requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with both local and remote teams.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a QA engineering role with a strong focus on ETL data testing.
- Proficient in SQL and Python for data validation within Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or Data Hub environments.
- Experience developing test strategies and detailed test plans.
- Familiarity with Medallion Architecture and its application in data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining test frameworks and automation tools.
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, and other document/data formats, along with search technologies.
- Exposure to enterprise databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL databases is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
