Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications aligned with business needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python programming, Oracle databases, and backend systems, along with a strong ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. This role requires collaboration with various departments to understand technical requirements and deliver reliable, secure, and optimized software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and improve software applications based on business requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Build applications and backend systems primarily using Python and other relevant programming languages.
- Work extensively with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL, SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Design, develop, and maintain database structures and integrations to support application functionality.
- Troubleshoot software issues, identify bugs, and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Integrate applications with APIs and third-party systems as needed.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and optimize software performance.
- Maintain existing software systems while introducing improvements to enhance functionality.
- Collaborate closely with management and other departments to gather and understand technical requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for applications, processes, and system changes.
- Ensure data security, system reliability, and enforce proper access controls.
- Stay updated with emerging programming languages, frameworks, tools, and best practices in software development.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software development or a related role.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
- Solid command of SQL and database management principles.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations.
- Good understanding of debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work with multiple programming languages is mandatory.
- Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs70,000 to Rs85,000. This role requires in-person attendance at the designated work location.
