Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Angular and Python Django/DRF, complemented by solid experience with MySQL and MongoDB databases. The ideal candidate will have broad technical knowledge, a deep understanding of business requirements, and the ability to design and architect scalable systems. Experience or familiarity with AI/ML concepts or large language model (LLM) integrations will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development of scalable web applications using Angular and Django/DRF. Architect and optimize backend services, APIs, workflows, and integrations to ensure high performance and reliability. Collaborate closely with product and business teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to modern development standards. Optimize frontend and backend performance focusing on speed, scalability, and reliability. Manage and design both relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Mentor junior developers, conduct thorough code reviews, and uphold high engineering standards. Experiment with and integrate modern AI/ML services or LLM APIs where applicable. Handle production-level troubleshooting, resolve performance bottlenecks, and address critical issues promptly. Contribute to architectural decisions, future planning, and strategic technical direction for the engineering team.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in full-stack development is essential. Strong expertise in Angular, including components, RxJS, state management, and application architecture. Deep proficiency in Python Django and Django REST Framework. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth, and API security best practices. Extensive experience with MySQL, including schema design, complex queries, and performance optimizations. Hands-on experience with MongoDB, focusing on aggregation pipelines and document modeling. Good grasp of software architecture principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices. Exposure to or interest in AI/ML tools, LLM integrations, or Python AI libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI APIs, or LangChain is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required. Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and align with business logic deeply.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Exposure
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Knowledge of microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. Understanding of caching strategies, load balancing, and scaling techniques to enhance system performance. Experience with testing frameworks including PyTest, Jest, and the Django REST Framework test utilities. Prior exposure to AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, or embeddings will be considered a bonus.
