Software Engineer - Technical Project Lead

A UK-based client is seeking an experienced software engineer or technical project lead to design and develop a unified Quality, Health Check, and Audit Dashboard. This platform will consolidate information from existing systems such as Live Widget, CAT, AI Audit, and other customer journey tools. The goal is to enable comprehensive monitoring of the health and quality of individual cases, users, teams, and the overall business.

Key Responsibilities

- Review current systems, tools, and data structures to understand existing workflows and data capture methods across the customer journey.
- Design a centralized platform and dashboard architecture that integrates data from multiple sources.
- Develop clear and actionable reporting focused on quality, compliance, performance, and operational health.
- Enable users to drill down into individual cases, providing full visibility of the customer journey, including actions taken, checks performed, pass/fail status, changes made, and issue resolutions.
- Ensure the platform supports audit trails, permissions management, compliance requirements, and data security protocols.
- Identify gaps in current processes and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and data accuracy.
- Produce a detailed development plan outlining priorities, phases, and estimated timelines.
- Collaborate closely with business and operational stakeholders to ensure the solution aligns with practical business needs and objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in software development and system integration, particularly involving multiple data sources.
- Expertise in designing and implementing dashboard and reporting platforms.
- Strong background in data modeling and working with complex datasets.
- Familiarity with audit trails, quality assurance, or compliance systems.
- Experience with customer journey mapping or case management platforms.
- Ability to create project plans and technical documentation.
- Skilled at translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Comfortable working with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.

The initial phase of this role will focus on reviewing the existing concept, gaining a thorough understanding of current systems and processes, identifying any gaps, and delivering a recommended technical and development plan. The ultimate objective is to build a central platform that provides management with full visibility of quality and compliance metrics across the business. This platform should also empower authorized users to investigate individual cases in detail without the need to navigate multiple disparate systems.
