Software Engineer - Technical Project Lead

A UK-based client is seeking an experienced software engineer or technical project lead to design and develop a unified Quality, Health Check, and Audit Dashboard. This platform will integrate data from Live Widget, CAT, AI Audit, and other systems across the customer journey. The goal is to consolidate information to monitor the health and quality of individual cases, users, teams, and the overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Review existing systems, tools, and data structures to understand current capabilities.
- Analyze how information is captured throughout the customer journey.
- Design a centralized platform and dashboard architecture that consolidates multiple data sources.
- Integrate data from various systems to provide comprehensive reporting.
- Develop clear and actionable reports on quality, compliance, performance, and operational health.
- Enable users to drill down into individual cases, viewing the complete customer journey in detail.
- Display detailed audit information, including who completed each action, what was checked, pass/fail status, changes made, and issue resolution.
- Ensure support for audit trails, permissions, compliance requirements, and data security protocols.
- Identify gaps in current processes and recommend improvements to enhance system effectiveness.
- Produce a clear development plan outlining priorities, phases, and estimated timelines.
- Collaborate closely with business and operational stakeholders to ensure the solution aligns with practical business needs.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development and system integration projects.
- Strong background in designing dashboards and reporting platforms.
- Expertise in data modeling and working with multiple, diverse data sources.
- Familiarity with audit trails, quality assurance, or compliance systems.
- Experience with customer journey or case management platforms.
- Skilled in project planning and producing technical documentation.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

The initial phase of this role involves reviewing the existing concept, gaining a thorough understanding of current systems and processes, identifying gaps, and producing a recommended technical and development plan. The ultimate objective is to create a centralized platform that provides management with full visibility of quality and compliance across the business. At the same time, it should allow authorized users to investigate individual cases in detail without needing to navigate multiple systems.
