- Identify, document, and report defects clearly, including steps to reproduce, expected outcomes, and actual results.
- Use Claude to analyze requirements, generate test scenarios, review test coverage, and improve QA documentation.
- Validate healthcare workflows covering patient demographics, scheduling, encounters, diagnoses, medications, laboratory, imaging, and immunizations.
- Perform basic API testing using Postman and conduct database validations with SQL.
- Assist in validating healthcare data formats such as HL7 when required.
- Maintain detailed test execution reports and track defects using DevOps or similar tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA engineers to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, test case design, and defect reporting.
- Practical experience or ability to use Claude for test case generation, requirement analysis, test data creation, and QA documentation.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare workflows or a strong willingness to learn Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps platforms, Postman for API testing, and SQL for database validation is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Internship experience, academic projects, or hands-on exposure to software testing is a plus.
- Basic understanding of healthcare terminology, patient records, diagnoses, CPT codes, and lab results is desirable.
- Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated test cases and results rather than relying solely on automated outputs.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic healthcare IT environment, working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to improving healthcare software quality.
