Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, performance, and usability of ExionSoft’s web, mobile, and SaaS products. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing manual test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues. The engineer will validate fixes before product releases to ensure quality standards are met. Participation in requirements reviews and contribution to test strategies will be essential to improving QA processes and standards across projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore, requiring close cooperation with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of high-quality software.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate strong expertise in Software Quality Assurance, with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices. Hands-on experience in manual testing is essential, including test case design, execution, defect tracking, and regression testing. A foundational knowledge of software development principles is necessary to effectively collaborate with engineers and comprehend the technical impact of defects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to testing are required. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are important for working with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Experience with web and mobile application testing, API testing, and familiarity with test management tools and issue trackers such as Jira is advantageous. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
