Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern

Techxaro Pvt. Ltd is seeking a motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern to join their team in Model Town, Lahore. This full-time, onsite internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in testing web and software applications within a dynamic software development environment. The internship duration is 3 to 4 months, with regular working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. As an SQA Intern, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of Techxaro’s products by executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with developers to enhance overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, designing, and executing test cases for various software applications.
- Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly, ensuring clear communication of issues.
- Write detailed bug reports including reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of defects and high-quality deliverables.
- Perform manual testing on websites and conduct regression testing after bug fixes.
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards and testing procedures.
- Contribute to the development of automated tests for critical workflows, including API and UI testing.
- Provide comprehensive documentation and reports on testing outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications:
- Education ranging from Matriculation to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Software Quality Assurance principles and software testing concepts.
- Familiarity with manual testing processes, bug reporting, and executing test cases is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of tools such as Jira, Trello, Postman, or Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to software testing methodologies and quality standards.
- Must have a personal laptop, which is mandatory for this role.
