Software Test Engineer

Bytebricks is seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with a strong focus on automation and business logic validation to join our fully remote team. We are not looking for someone who simply performs superficial UI testing; instead, we want an engineer who deeply understands the underlying business workflows and logic behind the code. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of business workflows and logic, focusing beyond the visual aspects of the user interface.
- Develop, write, and maintain automated test scripts using tools and languages such as Python, JavaScript, Cypress, and Selenium to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Manage the entire bug lifecycle and reporting process exclusively through ClickUp, ensuring clear communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Perform backend API testing to validate system stability and robustness using Postman.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a proven track record in test automation.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to validate complex business logic within software applications.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, self-managed environment, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience or a strong technical interest in testing Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), chatbots, or other AI-driven systems, is highly desirable. Familiarity with concepts such as "hallucination" or "non-deterministic output" in AI will be considered a significant advantage.
