Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in transforming envisioned solutions into reality. This client-facing position requires you to be equally adept at conducting detailed technical workshops and delivering presentations to board-level stakeholders. With a strong background in designing web-based architectures, you will confidently navigate complex, large-scale projects. You will serve as the essential support for development teams during implementation and act as the expert liaison for customers and partners, understanding their needs and consistently delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development team by translating customer requirements into well-defined, scalable, and secure architectural designs.
- Focus on critical aspects such as security, deployment, performance, caching, sizing, scalability, and serviceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications while providing your team with the necessary structure and clear guidance.
- Create comprehensive technical architecture documentation to support development and operational activities.
- Collaborate with QA leads to define effective test strategies.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Guarantee that implementations meet all non-functional requirements.
- Travel extensively to client sites during project inception phases and to conduct training sessions and workshops.

Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of the Java platform, exceeding standard expectations.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, Maven, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Microservices Architecture.
- Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks, MVC patterns, and REST API principles, including familiarity with RAML and/or OpenAPI.
- Solid grasp of architectural frameworks and best practices.
- Professional experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks.
- Broad operational knowledge of application servers, databases, load balancers, and other infrastructure components essential for deploying web applications in highly available and scalable environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience designing solutions for financial services, particularly banking.
- Familiarity with Portal/Web Content Management systems.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns such as Microservices, CQRS, and event sourcing.
- Experience with server virtualization and container technologies like Docker, VMware, and Hyper-V.
- Professional use of Integration Platforms and API Gateways.
