Solution Engineer - Finance

We are currently seeking a motivated individual with a strong financial background to join Nakisa as a Solution Engineer. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop expertise in software solutions within a dynamic, technology-driven environment. As a Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in demonstrating the value of Nakisa’s Finance solutions by delivering customized demos and supporting the sales team with essential documentation to close deals. You will become a subject matter expert on Nakisa’s products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, R&D, and Product to guide customers and ensure their success. This position offers global exposure, strategic insight, and significant opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and share best practices related to lease accounting.
- Support sales and implementation projects as a subject matter expert, ensuring alignment with accounting standards.
- Assist in RFP/RFI processes by providing technical expertise.
- Prepare and deliver business-level presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Lead proof of concept demonstrations for customers and prospects.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure solutions meet accounting best practices.
- Provide feedback to the product team regarding solution enhancements and market requirements.
- Act as the primary advocate and subject matter expert for Nakisa Finance products internally and externally.
- Support quality assurance efforts by testing lease accounting journal entries, disclosure reporting, and related functionality.
- Maintain regular communication with R&D, product management, marketing, sales, and professional services teams.

Required Qualifications
- ACCA membership with a minimum of three years post-membership experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, particularly IFRS 16 and ASC 842.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer-facing skills or a demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to develop them.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in IT or ERP development environments is advantageous.
- Prior experience delivering product demonstrations, especially with an accounting focus, is a plus.
- Familiarity with lease accounting processes is beneficial.
