The Solutions Architect role is a full-time, remote position focused on designing comprehensive software solutions that meet both business objectives and technical requirements. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather and understand their needs, define solution architectures, and develop detailed technical designs and documentation for implementation teams. Daily responsibilities include guiding software development efforts, selecting appropriate technologies and integration patterns, and ensuring system performance, scalability, and security. The Solutions Architect will work alongside consulting, product, and engineering teams to refine business processes, troubleshoot complex issues, and support successful delivery throughout the solution lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end software solutions aligned with client business goals and technical needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical, value-driven architectures.
- Develop detailed technical designs and documentation to guide development teams.
- Select appropriate technologies, integration patterns, and architectural approaches to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during software development and implementation phases.
- Work closely with consulting, product, and engineering teams to refine business processes and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Ensure system performance, scalability, and security standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support technical decision-making by analyzing trade-offs and managing technical risks.
- Communicate effectively with remote, cross-functional teams and maintain clear documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Solid consulting and business process skills to translate client requirements into actionable solutions.
- Hands-on software development experience with proficiency in at least one modern programming language or framework.
- Expertise in integration technologies, including APIs, microservices, and data integration patterns.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, VPS, or PLESK.
- Familiarity with common architectural patterns like microservices and event-driven systems.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, especially in remote and distributed team environments.
- Ability to analyze technical trade-offs, manage risks, and support decision-making across multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
