The Contract Commercial Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the contract management team by providing essential support to the Team Manager and Senior Specialist. This position involves accurate contract data entry into CPQ systems, managing global orders—including new, amended, and renewal contracts—and tracking case statuses to facilitate smooth transaction processing from deal creation through fulfillment. The specialist collaborates closely with Sales and other departments to resolve escalations and client inquiries promptly, maintaining compliance with pricing, legal standards, and OTC ecosystem procedures. By documenting activities and supporting audit readiness, this role contributes to continuous process improvements and operational accuracy within the S&P Global Energy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate contract data entry into CPQ deals.
- Manage global orders, including new orders, amendments, and renewals, focusing on Global Majors, Strategic Customers, Large Regional Customers, and complex orders.
- Track case statuses to ensure seamless transaction processing from deal creation through invoicing and fulfillment.
- Monitor escalations from Sales, Client Services, and other stakeholders, gathering necessary information for timely resolution.
- Assist Sales with client inquiries related to products, billing, account and contract status, address changes, cancellations, and rebill requests.
- Provide comprehensive contract management support to the sales organization.
- Attend BPM meetings regularly and report deal and case statuses for key accounts verbally and in writing.
- Ensure full adherence to CPQ ecosystem procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate across departments to resolve sales contract management issues efficiently.
- Contribute to the review and enhancement of departmental processes and workflows.
- Document all case management activities and communications within CPQ.
- Support audit processes by providing required documentation and information.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract management and order processing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accurate data entry within CPQ systems or similar platforms.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track case statuses and ensure smooth transaction flow.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and teams.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Primary working hours are 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM US ET / 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM PK Time.
