As a Specialist in HLR & VAS Operations at JazzWorld, you will play a vital role in managing the core platforms that keep millions of subscribers connected. Your work will focus on critical systems such as HLR/HSS, SMSC, Smart Care/CEM, and other Value-Added Services. This position offers hands-on experience with live telecom operations, including troubleshooting, configuration management, automation, and data-driven network operations. You will also develop expertise in advanced technologies like 4G/5G Core, IMS, cloud-native solutions, and AI-enabled network tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain HLR, HSS, SMSC, Smart Care/CEM, and VAS platforms to ensure stable network performance.
- Troubleshoot incidents, faults, and customer complaints, escalating complex issues to senior engineers or vendors as needed.
- Monitor alarms, KPIs, performance, and capacity to proactively identify and resolve potential problems.
- Support configuration changes, software patches, system upgrades, and new feature rollouts, including thorough testing and rollback procedures.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring incidents to improve system reliability.
- Maintain accurate configurations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and other operational documentation.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks such as health checks, log collection, and reporting using scripting languages like Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript.
- Extract and analyze operational data using SQL/Oracle and support dashboard/report generation through Power BI or Tableau.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and digitalize manual operational processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with Network Planning, IT, Product, Customer Support, and vendor teams to resolve issues and deliver seamless services.
- Build knowledge in AI/ML-based anomaly detection, predictive analytics, virtualization, cloud-native environments, and next-generation network technologies.

Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in HLR & VAS operations, especially with SMSC, anti-spam systems, firewalls, and HLR/HSS platforms.
- Experience working with telecom vendors such as Huawei, ZTE, or Nokia.
- Strong understanding of GSM, HLR/HSS architecture, messaging call flows, IP protocols, and signaling.
- Proven skills in configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting within telecom core and VAS environments.
- Practical knowledge of automation scripting using Python, Perl, Shell, or JavaScript.
- Proficiency in SQL/Oracle for data extraction and analysis, along with exposure to Power BI or Tableau for reporting.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly in anomaly detection and predictive analytics applied to network operations.
- Awareness of cloud platforms, virtualization, and modern network technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, effective collaboration, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to engage in technical discussions with maturity and a balanced, team-focused approach.
