Specialist - Package Implementation

We are seeking an experienced OneShield Developer to design, develop, configure, and enhance applications on the OneShield Insurance Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience translating business requirements into technical designs and independently implementing solutions. This role involves configuring insurance products, workflows, rules, forms, rating, underwriting, and policy administration capabilities within OneShield. The candidate will also develop and support integrations between OneShield and external systems using APIs, web services, messaging frameworks, and batch interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and enhance applications on the OneShield Insurance Platform.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implement solutions independently.
- Configure insurance products, workflows, rules, forms, rating, underwriting, and policy administration capabilities within OneShield.
- Develop and maintain integrations between OneShield and external systems using APIs, web services, messaging frameworks, and batch interfaces.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design reviews, effort estimation, and sprint planning activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Perform unit testing and support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production releases.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, design artifacts, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams located onshore and offshore.
- Work hours are from 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM IST.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in OneShield Insurance Platform development and configuration.
- Ability to independently translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, messaging frameworks, and batch interfaces.
- Familiarity with insurance domain concepts including product configuration, workflows, rating, underwriting, and policy administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
- Experience in unit testing and supporting SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams.
