We are currently seeking dedicated professionals to join the field splicing teams at Askari 5. This role involves hands-on technical work focused on maintaining and restoring fiber optic connections to ensure seamless service delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, splicing, and completing restoration tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive the company truck to various field locations.
- Utilize OTDR and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Restore customer links by performing precise fiber optic splicing with minimal signal loss.
- Properly close and secure splice joints, ensuring they are hung or placed correctly within ducts.
- Ensure timely service delivery to clients by completing all assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Complete all joint splicing after restoring active client connections.
- Close service tickets within 24 hours to maintain operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience working as a member of a field splicing team or in a similar technical role involving fiber optic splicing.
- Proficiency in using OTDR and other fiber optic testing and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to drive safely and responsibly, with a valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure low-loss splicing and proper joint closure.
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and completing tasks within specified time limits.
- Physical capability to work in outdoor environments and handle equipment as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Prior experience in a telecommunications or network maintenance environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to fieldwork and fiber optic handling.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs50,000.
